Surprise, surprise!! I'm updating!! How's that for being on top of things.  I'm getting better at this.  So my new digital camera finally came in.  Took a bit longer than I expected, but I was stoked when I finally got it.  I felt so lost without a camera. This weekend was a lot of fun...sorta. We went to a party but these guys started fighting so we left.  Ended up just coming back to the dorms and drinking there.  Apparantly I had a little too much to drink and got a little sick.  Oh well..happens to everyone I guess.  This is the last week before spring break.  Can't wait!  Just have to get through the week...

All right...I guess it's time for another update.  Yes, I know that I have been seriously slacking on this whole Xanga thing.  Anyway since I haven't updated in awhile I guess there's a lot to write about.

In the beginning of February, a bunch of us went snowboarding for our class up at Winter Park.  We caught the Greyhound bus and stayed at a nice hotel.  The first day of snowboarding was a LOT of fun!!!  I fell on my butt more times than I can count.  I definitely had a difficult time stopping. hahaha!  Mel dislocated her shoulder and had to be taken down by the ski patrol.  They made her wait for like three hours before they even took and Xray of her arm.  She was such a "soljah" througout the whole ordeal.  She didn't even cry when they put her shoulder back in place.  The second day of snowboarding was a whole lot better.  I actually stopped without falling on my butt.  It was such a huge accomplishment for me. hehehe.  Anyway at the end of our stay, Greyhound was supposed to pick us up at the bus stop.  Well, the stupid bus drove right past without even slowing down!  There were no taxis, shuttles, or trains that could take us back.  We were STRANDED! It was horrible.  Thank goodness Shawn and Adam came to save us.  Lesson learned -- never ever take the Greyhound bus!!!

Kyp came to visit me here in Colorado for Valentine's Day.  He ended up staying a week longer than he was supposed to, so it was great. :)  He brought me all kinds of food from back home (lau lau, kalua pig, poke, pocho sausage, red hot dogs, and POG!! to name a few).  Of course I shared with the family so we had a nice "pig out" weekend. I must have gained at least 5 pounds!  He is supposed to come back to visit me for our luau so that should be tons of fun. 

As for school, I guess it's been okay.  I did really shitty on my bio test so I have to bus' my butt for the next test so I can bring it up.  I think I should be fine in my other classes.  Spring break is coming up in 2 weeks and I can't wait!! I probably won't do anything special, but it will be nice to have a break from classes and studying.  Hopefully I'll have a chance to go snowboarding...*crossing my fingers*

Okay I admit I've been seriously slacking on this whole Xanga deal.  I haven't updated since last year! LOL!  So for all of you that keep on grumbling, here's the long awaited update. 

Soo...I'm back in good ole Greeley, Colorado with a New Year's Resolution to stay focused this semester.  Hey, but no one ever follows through with New Year's Resolutions anyway, right?  It's inevitable.  So I've already started to slack off on reading and stuff.  My Bio 110 class is ridiculous...the teacher isn't very good.  It's really funny Adam always raises his hand and corrects the teacher.  I love it cuz then the teacher gets all flustered.  Then whole class starts getting into it.  It's classic!  Oh...and my Intro to Lit teacher is a nut.  He makes the class a bit more bearable.  Shari and I are in all the same classes.  We suffer through it together. 

Hmm...we started hula practices for the luau.  I'm absolutely horrible at it.  Hopefully I'll be in the back row so that no one can see me.  Considering my height...that doesn't seem like an option.  Good thing Michelle is a master at hula and can help me not look like an ass in front of hundreds of people. 

This weekend was pretty fun.  On Friday night we went to the armory.  It was pretty packed.  Somehow the girls got me dance on the bar for a VERY short while.  I was soooo embarrassed so I got off.  Then on Saturday the girls and I had a beauty night.  It was so much fun! We did facials and hair stuff.  Shawn and Adam stopped by and got involved too. I wanted to post the pictures but I didn't want them to get all embarassed.  Sunday was fun too.  After hula we went to Walmart.  Meagan and I filled up a whole cart together.  That was so crazy.  Man it was horrors trying to carry all the stuff we bought back to the dorms. It was like 25 degrees...which may not seem to bad, BUT with windchill it was 9 degrees.  My hands were soooo frozen.  It felt like they were going to fall off!  But I suppose it was worth it because we ate Loco Mocos for dinner.  We all decided that every Sunday would be "family" dinner night. I guess we all feel like our friends up here really become like family....

[edit] Went to watch Steven in his One Acts thingy...It was pretty fun.  Shari and I were soooo hungry after that we went to Shawn's room to eat Spam musubi. :) Thanks Adam and Shawn for making it for us! It was sooooo yummy!
